One of my favourite things about being a wedding photographer is getting to visit places I wouldn’t necessarily get to go to otherwise. One of the most magical destinations this summer was Guernsey, where Abianne & Adam got married. Their day was a mix of traditions from Abianne’s home of Texas and of Adam’s native Guernsey.
The day started at The Old Government House Hotel & Spa in the picturesque St Peter Port where Abianne and her maids got ready. Chique beauty, hair and nails worked their magic with hair and makeup, after which Abianne got dressed in her gorgeous Liancarlo wedding gown and we piled onto an adorable vintage bus and headed to Les Camps in St. Martin for the ceremony.
After the ceremony we travelled to Perelle Bay in St. Saviour where a gorgeous marquee awaited. Florist Blossom & Green had created beautiful arrangements, while caterer Sueco was responsible for the delicious-looking food, and wedding planner Lorraine Lane made sure everything ran smoothly. It was also a pleasure to get to know and work with videographer Luke Sheehan.
It was such an honour to be a part of this special day, at this exceptionally beautiful place. Thank you so much Abianne & Adam for having us along! x

Once again your coverage of the bridal preparations is to be commended. Everyone looking natural and relaxed only happens when they feel totally at ease having a photographer in the room. Love the pictures taken on the bus too!

Marianne, I have no idea how you catch such gorgeous skin tones in what seems like less than ideal lighting! Would love to hear your secrets :)
