Kelly & Scott got married at Islington Town Hall and had a small reception at a restaurant in London prior to their bigger wedding celebrations in Scotland and Malaysia next year. They decided that instead of getting the whole day documented, they’d like to just do a longer portrait session around London and at their flat. Since their wedding was on a weekday, this was just fine by me, and I have to say that it was *so* much fun concentrating on just the portrait bit of a wedding day without worrying too much about the rest of the timeline. It’s nice to shake things up a bit sometimes!
You can probably see that Kelly is a huge lover of colour, which made my job thoroughly enjoyable – and a big yellow balloon is always a bonus! You might also spot a few Holga frames in the mix. Kelly & Scott, I had so much fun with you two! I hope you will have as much fun throughout your wedding marathon, and that you will always remember to have a giggle together. x

The blue and pink contrast throughout the whole shoot is amazing! I don’t understand how you managed to find so much blue and green in the street! Also, I totally love their apartment and I agree with Adam, they look like great fun. Must have been a pleasure to photograph!

This shoot must have been so much fun! You’ve used some great and yet simple techniques to make this a a really fun an interesting urban wedding. The colours are fantiastic and really add to atmosphere. I love the yellow balloon with matching yellow cab! Great work as always marianne!
