You couldn’t really get a more central London wedding than Maria & Andrei’s wedding at the British Academy, overlooking St James’s Park. And what an incredible venue it was! Mix in all of Mia’s stylish touches and it all adds up to a seriously swanky affair. To start with, the funky stationery set the tone for the scrumptious yellow theme, which carried through to the rest of the day.
Jimmy Campbell was on hand to take care of make-up and hair, while Mia and her girls got ready in the most opulent room ever (just check out the ceiling!). Mia’s gorgeous wedding gown was by Pronovias and her incredibly cool yellow shoes were by Benjamin Adams. Florist Enchanted Florals had followed the yellow theme beautifully, balancing the colour with some fresh white.
Caterer FoodShow took care of delicious looking food, while Provenance Fine Wines was in charge of the tipple. The most amazing cake was created by no other than Linda Fripp Designs. Since Andrei’s roots are in Malta, and Mia’s in Spain, little touches, such as the yellow fans, added to a Mediterranean vibe.
The day was filled with so much laughter and joy. And when the evening started to fall, after a quick spin for portraits at Trafalgar Square, we left DJ Matt Maurice in charge of getting people on the dance floor.
Thanks so much Mia & Andrei for having us share your day with you! It was a pleasure and a privilege. x
