As venues go, Andaz Liverpool Street is very close to my heart. Couple of years ago we shot so many weddings at the Andaz, that we might as well have moved in (oh I wish!), but strangely enough last year I did not have one wedding there. So being the photographer for Sarah & Colin’s Andaz wedding felt a little bit like a homecoming.
Sarah looked stunning in her Pronovias gown and those Jimmy Choos. Lauren Newman from Return to Glory took care of hair and makeup, while Maianne Johnson of Sweet Pea Flowers provided colour to the day with the stunning bouquets and flower arrangements.
The ceremony of Sarah and Colin’s wedding took place in the Bishopsgate room, with a drinks reception in the Gallery and wedding breakfast in the Great Eastern room to follow, centrepiece of which was the uh-ma-zing Peggy Porschen cake. A cool London theme carried throughout, from the tube map seating plan to the brilliant tube sign wedding favour biscuits by Biscuiteers.
And of course, it wouldn’t have been a proper homecoming had we not had a chance to cross paths with Max from the Wedding Smashers, with whom we share many happy memories from the dance floor of the Andaz!
Thank you sooo much Sarah and Colin for having us share your beautiful day with you, and for bringing us back to one of our favourite venues. x

Absolutely lovely M. The Andaz looks like a cracking venue – no wonder its one of your favourites. I love how ‘London’ the portraits are. Definitely one of the best cities in the world ;)

Is the Bride commenting? Could you please let me know where your Mum’s outfit was from? It’s beautiful (as were you).
Sarah says
Thanks Becca,
Mum’s outfit was from Judith of Wanstead (http://www.judithofwanstead.com/). The designer was Ivonne D for Mon Cheri.

Fantastic shots as always Marianne. Love the tube map seating plan, never seen that before! Little touches like that really add a lot of character and uniqueness to a wedding, it just goes to show you don’t always need to spend money to do something special (although I’m sure they did spend a fair bit on the whole from the looks of it!) What I mean to say is sometimes a bit of imagination can go a long way.

What a stunning wedding and fantastic images. Love your work.
The London Theme is superb… not sure a Manchester theme would have the same effect.

Lovely wedding. Such pretty colours. Does anybody know where the tube seating plan comes from? Its genius.
Sarah says
Hi Charlotte,
Andrew at http://www.vintage-designs.co.uk designed all our stationery, including our ‘keep calm’ invites. He was fabulous, I just said I wanted something ‘London themed’ and he ran with it. Highly recommended.
