Oh gosh, the season has gotten a bit mental again and trying to find time for everything that needs to be done seems to be a huge struggle. But the good news is here comes a blog post in honour of Tam & Tom, who got married in Henley in Oxfordshire last month.
Tamryn and the girls got ready at her family home, where the atmosphere was surprisingly calm! Tamryn wore a beautiful Kate Sherford gown and I loved the bridesmaids dresses in slightly differing shades of pink, gorgeous!
After a ceremony at St Peter and St Paul’s Church in Shiplake, we headed to a relaxed reception at Monks Barn, where guests were invited to play games in the garden while sipping Pimm’s and listening to Nikki Loy singing and playing her guitar, before a dinner in the beautifully decorated barn. A perfect event in my book!
A few key people I should mention are Dan Miller at Losttime Design, who created the stationery, and Iain Henderson, who designed Tam & Tom’s wedding bands. Also, Tamryn’s lovely lovely mother (who also wore my favourite colour on the day!) had made the fabulous cake, while a family friend, Jill Dax, was in charge of all the beautiful flowers, which reflected Tamryn’s family’s South African roots.
Thank you Tam & Tom for having us! It was such a pleasure. I hope your honeymoon in Mongolia will be an adventure of a lifetime!
