Try as I might, I can’t seem to cut this blog post down to fewer images. I’m so sorry! It’s just that Alex & Billy’s wedding was pretty much perfection in terms of what I love about weddings. I can’t believe how I’d never heard about the gorgeous and quirky venue, Maunsel House, before! Everything about it was just an absolute bliss for a photographer.
The beauty didn’t stop just at the all the idiosyncratic details of the venue and the cutest little chapel, there were also the exquisite flower arrangements by Emma Vowles, the glorious cake of cheese by The Cheese Shed & delicious looking food by Posh Nosh – and that’s even before mentioning Alex’s beautiful beautiful wedding gown by Tara Keeley. Add to all this visual feast the lovely relaxed atmosphere of friends and family getting together on a beautiful summer’s day in the West Country, and you have pretty much my perfect event summed up.
I do want to give a special shout out to the wonderful Pippa at Maunsel House, who took such good care of me (especially since this was one of the rare weddings where I didn’t have Susanna with me to keep me in check!), thank you for being so amazing.
And of course, thank you to Alex & Billy. I’m so happy you wanted me to join you on your special day, and I truly hope you will be as blissfully happy for the rest of your life as you were on the day. x
