I was doing hi-res discs of some of the engagement shoots I’ve done recently, and thought that I could share with you what my packaging looks like. When deciding the most appropriate way of delivering hi-res files of my clients’ engagement and wedding photography, I looked at a lot (and I mean a lot) of options for DVD packaging in different materials. In the end I opted for these customisable clear cases, as I wanted them to be all about the images. I think they look clean and fresh and compliment my style of photography. And it turns out I really enjoy the process of choosing and laying out the images for all the different elements of the covers and the tray as well.
Engagement shoots are a lot of fun to do, but I’m really looking forward to the start of the wedding season, which kicks off for me next month!
London nights | Personal
The nice thing about the dark nights of winter is the lights. I love the lights of London, always pulsating with life.
Souvenirs from the Sea | Personal
A few picture souvenirs from my mini-break to Dorset.
Nostalgia | Personal
I was inspired to try out some new techniques on old images. These pictures of Miriam & Miikka were shot as part of a series of images for a contest (which, incidentally, I won…) in 2005. I used only one of these hair-throwing ones in the final triptych, and sort of dismissed the rest. I really like the look of them now, having tried new tones on them.
London Bridge | Personal
I went out to scout nice spots for portraits for an upcoming June wedding. The buildings around London Bridge lend themselves to some nice contrast, can’t wait to shoot the Bride and Groom dressed in their finest against the imposing buildings.
